Too Beautiful to Live.

Third Quarter 2011

(300 mins | 56 kbp/s | 120MB)

Return to the Seinfeld of comedy podcasts as Luke Burbank and Jen Andrews
recount the major events in their lives and fuss over the latest national and world
events. What do you do when your email address has been leaked to the wrong
people? And what if restaurants don't serve enough crackers with your platter of
assorted cheeses and dips? These treacherous issues and more stoke the fires of
Too Beautiful to Live.

In this recap of 201 1 's third quarter, Luke and Jen skeptically examine the New
York Times' claim that watches have become cool again. Luke enjoyed a frenzied
weekend while Jen's in-laws revealed her email address to people she'd rather not
be in contact with. North Korea kidnapped a stamp collector and forced him to
write a pro-People's Democratic Republic editorial of questionable quality, Luke
goes on vacation and gains over ten pounds during the proceedings, and The
Mummy demands that a Colorado mountain be named after John Denver.

Luke Burbank

Burbank began his career in radio by pinch hitting across a variety of shows and
genres, working either as a producer or as on-air talent. His work touched a
number of shows, including The Conversation, Rewind, and Day to Day. He later
became a reporter for NPR before starring as a regular panelist on the comedy
show Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me! After a stint on The Bryant Park Project Burbank
returned to Seattle to begin work on Too Beautiful to Live.

Jen Andrews

Jen Andrews served as producer for a variety of shows at KIRO before becoming
executive producer of Too Beautiful to Live. The show marked the reunion of
Burbank and Andrews, who had known each other since childhood. Andrews left
the show for a time after its cancellation from radio and subsequent transition to
the podcast format, but soon after rejoined Burbank as he broadcast from his
home, "Burbank Studios."
